Deezy Deos speaks truth to power on the insightful “Wayback”. By far the best part of the track comes from the thoughtful, fiery flow. Lyrics focus upon the contemporary problems of the world, doing so with the utmost of insight. The arrangement emphasizes this message for it has just the right mixture of laid-back grooves along with a highly introspective style. Jazz, hip-hop, and electronica come together to create this balanced, thorough mixture. Layer upon layer of sound comes into view further lending the entire piece a graceful, elegant presence.

Nostalgia enters into the lyrical flows; the way people look back on how they used to be. Conversations are had only with one’s future spouse for the outside world has become a darker, less certain place.
