Tueazee – ‘I Know’ brought to you by J Tizzle Music
From bluegrass to gospel and everything in between, Georgia has a wide ranging musical history that spans as many genres as it does decades. Artists such as Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, Trisha Yearwood, Alan Jackson, the B-52s, and more, all hail from the Peach State. As the cultural capital of the new South, Augusta’s music scene is one of the first things that comes to mind when thinking about all the city has to offer. It’s a place full of incredible underground talent and one of those rising stars is the hip hop group Tueaze.
This track, ‘I know’ is a perfect encapsulation of their sound. It begins with just a beat and low-end bass that creates anticipation for what’s coming.
With a commanding and charismatic rapping style, and a gift for creating memorable hooks, they stand out from the crowd in the hip hop world and I expect this release to bring their dynamic style to a much wider audience. In short, ‘I know’ deserves to be a resounding success.
Overall, this song has real commercial potential, perfect for radio, and provided it gets enough exposure its hard to see how it will not become a big success. This particular genre is extremely popular at the moment, so I don’t think Tueaze will need to worry about whether they will make it for too much longer. Furthermore, on this evidence, I think they will be around for a long time to come.
