Be Down -Starring Lacey Jane (Official Music Video and Exclusive Interview)
Make no mistake about it Goldie Stallone is no newbie when it comes to rap and the entertainment business. Growing up in a small town named Maysville (hometown of George Clooney) in northern Kentucky Goldie Stallone, LaRon Washington, has a story to tell. His latest release after nearly 3 years absent is a reflection of his reality. His style is influenced by his favorite artists like Tupac, Jay-Z, and Nas although he says most people say he sounds like Texas legend Trae the Truth with his gritty, raspy voice and hard- reality driven delivery. His favorite line about his style is “I’m trying to be the best me!”. He wants his music and his legacy to be authentic, loyal and substantive. “All I have is my ba**s and my word”- Scarface, is a quote that he lives by when faced with how to compete in the current hip-hop landscape. A self-confessed hip-hop junky from days past he prides himself on never flexing for likes!
Rapping and performing since he was 15 years old Goldie Stallone didn’t really get serious about a career in music until 2010. His passion for promoting shows and booking major artist in his hometown inspired him to record, produce, and independently distribute 5 cds.
