Hailing from Naptown (Indianapolis, Indiana) Christopher Turner, also known as Calibur.G; was berthed in house deeply rooted in Music. Early inspirations from The Jackson 5, Earth, Wind & Fire and a plethora of oldies paved the groundwork for his musical appreciation. Thanks to a video game called “Beaterator” (Timbaland), creating music became a challenge as well as a passion for this ambitious 24 year old. Learning various instruments by ear most notably the piano. He began the bulk of his studio work from humble beginnings. From Audacity to Reason 5 studio his range of simplistic yet tasteful beats grew from a couple snippets to his recent addition and full length LP “3rd Voyage” marks his 23rd mixtape work of jazz-sampled soulful beats.
