Whe! – Make videos come alive to the vibrant sound of music

In our journey to help unsigned artists from around the world, we come across great talent and amazing singers every day. Sometimes, we also meet people that have common goals with us and it feels wonderful working together for the same purpose.  Today we present Whe!, a Stockholm-based startup which has found a unique new way of helping artists gain some well-deserved recognition, so for this, they deserve some too!

Whe allows users to use music from SoundCloud as soundtracks to their videos. After picking a track they love for their videos, users can share them through all social media feeds with only one click, through the app. Users have some fun filming and editing videos, and artists have their music spread through everyone’s friend list. Moreover, the app is completely free, fun and super easy to use.

Whe was developed out of a shared love for music, as well as the wish to help talented artists receive the attention that they deserve. Knowing how difficult it can be to get into the music industry, a new opportunity was needed for them, so Whe delivered, and found this fresh way for musicians to get heard.

One of the founders of Whe, Marcus Wiberg, is also founder of Switchplace, while the other, Alfred Karlsten, was named SKAPA’s Innovator of the Year 2016 in memory of Alfred Nobel, for his other venture, SafeStuff.
