Electronic Dance Music has inspired some of the most incredible visual displays known to man. It is funny to think that only 10 years ago large stage productions were not a thing in the world of dance music. It was commonly just a DJ behind the decks and a few light displays. Of course that is a generalization – there have always been some artists thinking outside of the box in terms of their EDM visuals.

As DJs and promoters attempt to sustain market interest, the pizzazz of a show’s visual content is becoming tantamount to the tunes. During live concerts, VJs manipulate pre-loaded clips and graphics to fit a DJ’s set, editing content on the go by adding effects and altering colors. Visual Visions – City Lights is a prime example of an artist thinking outside of the box and we’re absolutely loving this! Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Honestly, I felt like music choose me and raised on how to love and learn from emotions the songs give off.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Love making music until you are physically dead or incapable of making music. Music is love and way of life. Don’t steer into a wrong direction with it.

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Hehe. You will never know who is performing under Visual Visions. Visual Visions is the sound behind the music and important to know only that. People are all human.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Yes. Around the sound waves. I’m everywhere.

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

I’m also growing on software. Hardware is coming next I promise.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

The internet is my best friend. It’s where I live. Hehe.

Nujabes, J Dilla & Celldweller. All big time idols that deserve way more credit then what is out running around in the soundwaves now.
