LD Communications is looking for a dynamic and passionate Account Executive to join our 16 strong team across a diverse range of clients. The candidate must have a strong interest in music and the wider entertainment industry. An understanding of all forms of UK media will be key to success. The job will involve taking a supporting role across accounts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Work as part of a team on major festival PR and entertainment shows
- Responsible for securing Book Now’s, Previews, Live Reviews and Album Reviews

Spotify is looking for a Global Marketing Strategy Lead to join our Consumer Marketing team. As Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for developing a marketing strategy to guide Spotify’s marketing investments around the world, leading integrated marketing programs to grow awareness and love for Spotify’s masterbrand, and commercializing new growth initiatives that helps Spotify expand its reach to new markets and audience segments. The right person for the role is a collaborative leader with experience in fast-paced, creative, and analytical work environments. This position will report to the Head of Global Marketing Strategy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop brand and segments strategies through market analysis and stakeholder input.
- Write business briefs that inform cross functional teams and develop global multi-channel marketing plans.
- Work with in-country teams to develop and execute multi-channel marketing programs that drive consideration, trial and retention.
- Oversee project timelines to ensure all commitments are met while communicating status updates to key stakeholders.
- Serve as a resource and global consult for all regional marketing teams.
- Partner with creative teams and agency partners to build campaigns.
- Work closely with product teams to ideate, develop and test new growth initiatives
WHO YOU ARE
- College degree, combined with at least 8-10 years of international marketing and/or strategy consulting work experience. An MBA or advanced degree in marketing is a plus.
- Ability to formulate marketing strategies, strategically assess executional options, think creatively and provide detailed follow-through on campaigns.
- Ability to mobilize and effectively lead cross functional teams.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Experience in briefing and working with creative teams.
- Highly organized and detail conscious with the ability to manage timelines, large teams, and global budgets.
- Experience using analytics and measurement to inform data-driven decisions for organizations.
- International experience, understanding of cultural diversity

We are currently looking for creative executives with a passion for hip-hop and R&B music to join our A&R team at Capitol Records and oversee the full artist cycle, from scouting to signing to recording to marketing.

HOW YOU’LL CREATE:
- Identify and sign new talent for Capitol Records
- Manage the recording process and coordinate with all parties involved such as producers, writers, mixers, etc.
- Actively source and build relationships with new artists, managers, lawyers, independent labels, tastemakers, and gatekeepers.
- Assist A&R efforts on existing label artists by sourcing and developing hit tracks, songs, and other ideas from writers and producers.
- Manage the production/recording costs budget and negotiations with third parties.
- Support the creation of all music.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Soundstripe’s VP of Music will develop, manage, and direct the vision and daily operations of Soundstripe Productions, LLC. Our VP of Music will influence every facet of Soundstripe’s music business, making high-level business and creative decisions concerning Soundstripe’s original content strategy, vision, administration, and operations, as well as decisions regarding the careers of artists on Soundstripe’s roster. The role of Soundstripe’s VP of Music is to strategize, conceptualize and execute our music business’s policy and plans. They will oversee the daily on-goings of Soundstripe Productions business development, staffing, personnel management and collaboration, and all aspects of Soundstripe Productions label operations: production, distribution, marketing, corporate communications, label strategy, and artist discovery and promotion. Soundstripe’s VP of Music will improve the financial performance of Soundstripe Productions, LLC, reporting results and informing Soundstripe’s Board of the original content strategies that will drive Soundstripe Inc.’s growth and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As VP of Music at Soundstripe, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Directing the vision and daily operations of Soundstripe Productions.
- Strategizing, conceptualizing, and executing Soundstripe’s music policies and plans.
- Leading with inspired direction, creativity and innovation, collaborating and driving performance through engaging personnel management of Business Affairs, A&R, and Marketing and Sales Directors and teams.
- Steering the business development of Soundstripe Productions.
- Overseeing Soundstripe Productions’ business affairs: administration, publishing, and distribution.
- Overseeing Soundstripe Productions’ A&R: talent and content acquisition strategy as well as music production operations and execution.
- Overseeing Soundstripe Productions’ sales and marketing: brand direction, artist marketing initiatives and business development opportunities
- Reporting on Soundstripe Productions’ financial performance; strategically driving profitability and contributing to the continued success and growth of Soundstripe Inc.
