Synth-poppers Metro Station release an exciting new video for “Married in Vegas” in advance of their US tour this fall.
“Married in Vegas,” which appears on Metro Station’s last release, Savior, follows singer Trace Cyrus and his real-life girlfriend, actress Brenda Song, as they marry in Las Vegas’ famed Little White Chapel and party with friends, including Metro Station partner Mason Musso and drummer Spencer Steffan, throughout the night. The video’s use of high quality camera shots mixed with VHS and iPhone footage give the video such a realistic vibe.
“As real as the video feels, obviously Brenda and I didn’t really get married during the shoot,” Cyrus said. “It was crazy, though, having the pastor really do the whole ceremony just as he would for a normal wedding. It was a wild experience for sure, since it was with my girlfriend. She filmed all night with us then had to drive straight back to Los Angeles in the morning for work on her TV series. I’m super excited to have her as part of this video and think it’s an amazing thing we can look back on forever.”
In addition to the Little White Chapel, parts of the video were filmed in the penthouse suite of a local hotel. Some of Vegas’ most famous landmarks are also featured as the party cruises the Strip in a classic, old-school Cadillac convertible.
Metro Station “Married in Vegas” Official Music Video
“We stayed up all night shooting from the evening till sunrise, having a blast, and I think it really shows in the video,” said Cyrus. “This song is one of our favorites and, also, Vegas is one of our favorite cities to relax, drink and party every chance we get. The song just made sense for us.”

“Married in Vegas” is the third video filmed with LA based directing duo WATTS. Metro Station’s relationship with WATTS began with the video for “Love and War” shortly after Cyrus and Musso reunited, followed by a clip for “She Likes Girls.” “Every video we do with them just seems to get better and better!” Cyrus said. “Our goal is to give our fans the best quality music and videos, and we are excited to make more videos with WATTS in the future.”
Metro Station released their self-titled debut in 2007 and enjoyed wildly successful singles, as well as huge tours, before calling it quits a couple years later. After a several-year break, Cyrus and Musso reunited in 2013 and picked up where right where they left off. The Gold EP was released in 2014 and the full-length Savior in 2015. The duo continues to tour in support of Savior and will head out on The Savior Tour, also featuring Palaye Royale and The Strive, beginning in October.
