Supah Marrio pulls from his troubled past to create music that motivates and inspires others. With his southern raspy style he calms or energizes your soul beat by beat, word by word. Growing up in Jackson Mississippi in a low income apartment with 3 siblings and being raised solely by his mom who made them sing in the Church choir, Mario first felt how music can move you in ways sermons, lectures, words, or fists could not.   Â
Inspired by UGK, Pimp C. and Jodeci, Mario combined the Southern sound and R&B of all of these greats to land him 2 music contracts before he was suddenly incarcerated in 2009 on false charges where he served 4 years. During that time, he leaned heavily on his music to get him through, all the while teaching him humility, patience, perseverance, and compassion. Today, having grown stronger and wiser through it all, Mario’s dreams of another chance in the music industry is becoming a reality. Now residing in Atlanta Georgia, Mario’s music is being played on the radio all over the world and the contracts are coming in again.
