Interview
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in south florida and currently reside in Atlanta. Growing up I was heavily involved in sports; played football and ran track ; then later on I went on to play in the NFL for 6 years ( Darrell McClover) if you like google. I always had a Love for creativity and melodies for a long time ever sense I was a child. I remember singing around the house and my mom would tell me your always singing. I started recording music about 3 years ago; it was never an ambition. I never had a reason to be an artist or sing. it kind of just happened one day. I believe that things in your life happen for a reason and you meet certain people in your life ; that form a catalogue of your story. My character and who I am is being shaped every minute and I don’t want to miss it. It’s all about Yahuah he inspires me. If someone would have told me I would be recording music some years ago I would have laughed, but hear I am.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Well considering I am a start my self; I would say don’t be afraid to rejected. It comes with it
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
I’ve made mistakes; but its all about keeping your composure and Loving what you do. You can’t plan for them; just be persistent and finish ; its all about the finish
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
No I Have never been on Tour interesting to note
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
No upgrades lol ; I like to keep it old school ; pen and paper and a stringed instrument ..lol
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Promoting music is a time consuming task and if you have a good sound you want people to hear it . So I use social media and youtube as primary and I have partnered with Razr for those other promotions that I don’t have time for. Youtube works best for me right Now ; but always looking for something New.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
The place for me to perform would be in the land of Jerusalem / Yarushalam ; with my family ; it would be a Joyous occasion to spend it with those who you Love and care about and the beliefs are real. I really don’t have a Favorite artist to sing with. As long as the sound moves my soul and vibes with a good clean message I’m with it.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
What next? or What Now ? My debut Album “ Soulful life within “ is What’s Now just released it . It’s an illustration of hopes and downfalls and experiences. Whether people purchase it or no; thats not the goal; Its all about good meaningful sounds that people can listen too.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Don’t Know; everyday is a new day; I never really thought about it I just let my experiences come how they come. You never know what you will be doing the next day.
