“rap vocal sets a brilliant ambiance” The Profoun Poet – Rectified
Lovely classic hip-hop vibes fill the room with this track. The mellow beat and the jazz-infused musical backdrop to the rap vocal sets a brilliant ambiance that remains strong throughout. The leading rap vocal is one that fits in perfectly with this whole atmosphere. The voice is easy to listen to, there’s a confidence to it, the performance is passionate and captivating by all accounts, but without getting shouty or insistent. Furthermore, the lyrics are optimistic and inspiring right the way through, so every little element involved in the song is flawlessly in keeping with the general concept and vibe of the sound.
The snippets of melody from the female vocal are well placed and add another dynamic but without taking too much of a centre stage position. Really, every part played out in this seems to just settle into the music as if it were entirely a team effort – nothing is overbearing or overly self-centered, and this, again, suits the theme and sound of the music superbly. It’s the type of track you can genuinely sit back and enjoy, let the good vibes wash over you, and it’s one that is intriguing and inspiring enough to make listeners want to seek out more music from the creator.
The track calms you down almost instantly, and the voice that lightly presents these snippets of poetry and peacefulness adds to this effect immensely. It’s a really well done piece of music, sounding both classic and fresh all at once, and leaving you feeling much better after listening than you did before you pressed play. That hint of a melody, as simple as it is, also stays with you after listening. All in all the song has been brilliantly written and crafted to successfully serve a purpose. Music to make you feel good, to calm you, and to make you think.
