“rap vocal flow is brilliant” Thonio – Ridin Crazy
The song works really well as a piece of music to genuinely and effortlessly lift your mood and enhance your enthusiasm for the moment.
The intro seemed a little overly repetitive for so soon in the track, this was mainly just the vocal snippets, but it quickly passed by. The remainder of the song, particularly the rhythm and the specific sound, tone, and flow of the voices, really sets a great vibe. The energy of the track is perhaps it’s best quality. The positivity is evident right the way through, the rap vocal flow is brilliant, as is the tone, as mentioned, there’s a lot of character and confidence in that performance and it’s fairly captivating to witness. The melody line or hook section is also one that really grabs you. It’s a simply melody, but it fits well within the music around it, and it collects in your consciousness fairly quickly so that you can recognise and sing or jam along with it almost instantly.
The beat and the instrumental choices in the backdrop to this song seem quite unusual, which is generally a good thing, particularly when it’s not at the expense of style or quality of sound.
The track has been really well mixed and produced to a standard that highlights everything at just the right moments. The beat is awesome, at times a little similar to or reminiscent of a very vintage, early nineties, late eighties sort of loop, but not in a dated or overused way.
It just conjures up a kind of nostalgia, which is comforting, an added benefit when listening. The creative nature of the music fused with the energy and flow of the rap vocal and the choice of melody all have a hint of Outkast about them, from the early days, and this too is something that is missing from a lot of modern music. The optimistic bounce and life within the lines and the notes is fantastic.
