Derane Duerson, Better known as Rainyboy has been a familiar face on the local Midwest music scene for the past 6 years. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana where he released his first mixtape in April of 2011 “Tales from the L”. Number 3 was the hottest track being played in every club across the city. His single (Gone Off the Goosey) was well known in every club and across the Midwest. The mixtape was presented to the music industry by DJ Reddy Rock who then gave him the title Mr.Gone Off the Goosey.
In 2013 Rainyboy dropped another mixtape hosted by DJ Ace titled “Happy Trap Home 1.5” . This included the release of his single “Paperwork” which was another club banger. Shortly after the release of Paperwork, Rainyboy took a short break from his career due to the birth of his eldest daughter Re’en Alisia Duerson. But, he never strayed too far away from the Mic. Since then he has had a second child, Rylynn Duerson and has been working on his third mixtape dropping this February 2017 titled “Gray Day: The Red Edition” . Rainyboy is loved and respected by his family an friends , but most of all he is loved by his fans who have supported him since day one.
