“R.I.P” to Nate Dogg – Never in history was there a better man to sing the hook on any rap record ever
Nate Dogg – Long Beach rapper, is one of the most respected Emcees in the game. A force in West Coast hip-hop. He was a member of the group 213 with fellow Long Beach natives and frequent collaborators Snoop Dogg and Warren G. Making his debut in 1992 on Dr. Dre’s ‘The Chronic” on the song “Lil’ Ghetto Boy,” Nate went on to work with 2Pac, Eminem, Ludacris, Xhibit and more.
Though he was in failing health from 2008, the hip-hop world was taken by surprise in 2011 when Nate Dogg died due to complications from multiple strokes.
Nate Dogg was a voice of a generation and the area he hailed from. He inspired many rappers during his time and is even shouted out in current songs today. You will be missed!
