P.Carrera (Jason Nisbett) is a multi-talented and educated musician hailing from Newark, New Jersey who specializes in producing Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B and World Music.
He started producing and engineering at the age of 15. Since then, he has worked with musicians such as Rah Digga, Mya, the late Hussein Fatal, Freeway, Tone Trump and local artists such as Kazzie Pop and Driicky Graham.
P.Carrera’s early influences originate from Jazz to Soca music. He credits musicians such as Notorious B.I.G., Dr.Dre, Phil Collins, T-Pain, and Quincy Jones for teaching him the formula of creating not only hit potential but timeless records. His goal is to add to the legacy of 21st century compositions and some day influence a new generation to do the same. His artistry is one of a kind. Behind the microphone, his sound is a fusion of witty word play and hypnotizing melodies. Causing an infectious and rhythmic tantra to anyone who may cross its path. With his ability to produce, write, and record by himself, this 27 year old musician is truly a gifted artist with extreme diversities.
He is currently studying the world of film making with the hopes of scoring movies. He is always willing to learn and grow his talent into a solid career.
