New release from G.H. Hat with Alina Renae on vocals of the song “Sukiyaki”
A new Dance/Pop Remake of the 1963 US Billboard #1 hit “Sukiyaki” by Kyu Sakamoto. This is the lead single from a 10 track album
with 3 original G.H. Hat tracks, and featuring 3 remix tracks by Grammy Nominated DJ/Remixer Ralphi Rosario, and 3 remix tracks by the popular DJ/remix team Dinaire+Bissen.
G.H. Hat is a multi-genre producer, remixer, composer and performer. With 290 Classical tracks under his belt, G.H. Hat decided to enter the instrumental EDM arena in 2016, and his first release “Primal”, an instrumental trip-hop release, was on the Soundcloud Top 50 triphop charts for 14 straight weeks as well as his next trip-hop instrumental release “Joyogistic”. His “Piano Jam (Ode To Kygo)” was the first of several songs to be picked up by one of Spotify’s official Playlist and has remained on it for over a year now.
With his own personal style of EDM, G.H. Hat breaks away from traditional forms of EDM or as one reviewer put it: “There’s a misconception that EDM – electronic dance music – should be mindless. As long as it gets people moving on the dance floor, it works, right? Wrong. EDM, like any other music genre, is best approached in a compelling, artistic way. It shouldn’t be a slog through trope-driven production. ‘Primal’ is an excellent example of a EDM production gone right. Its varied musical styles are actually compelling to dig into; you don’t necessarily have to be on the dance floor to enjoy them.”
By late 2017, G.H. entered what he calls his “Vocal Stage” and with his first such release, “I Got a Problem (I Wonder…) [feat. Mickey Shiloh],” G.H. Hat achieved national Billboard success, charting for 10 weeks on DANCE CLUB SONGS (TOP 50) peaking at #16 and charting for 7 weeks on HOT SINGLES SALES peaking at #5. 2018 opened with G.H. Hat having placed 66 of his songs on 88 official Spotify Playlists and over 7,200 Spotify user playlists (according to “Spotify for Artists” statistics). Internationally, G.H. Hat’s EDM songs have been picked up and are playing on radio stations and cable and TV video channels in 45 countries.
