Music Review with Juliu$ for ‘Saddle Up’

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Juliu$ lived all around El Paso, as well as Chaparral, NM when he was younger, he grew up listening to a big variety of rap and hip hop music. Riding around with his father jamming out to artists like Westside Connections, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, and more which really sparked his interest into creating his own music. As he got older he went to record at Paradox Studios, it was then that he realized he would take music more seriously. Went to Phoenix AZ to study as an audio engineer for The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences where he got certifications in many aspects of the audio engineering realm, and is also designing shoes on the side, which will also be a big success in the near future. Today he is building his name, putting together a team and collaborating with Tha Ayleyes from Pensacola Florida. They collaborated together and created “I-10 Connection” a mixtape that is hosted by DJ Smallz & DJ Shurefire of Southern Smoke. They’re also working on more mixtape together. Juliu$ is featured in a couple mixtapes under DJ Flipcyide, Mic Ponz, and Coast2Coast just to name a few. All this, while he continues to represent and show love for his hometown. He loves to motivate the masses on getting money, staying positive, and succeeding in life as he expresses his life of trials and tribulation on the music. His vision is to succeed and to continue to reach his short and longterm goals. His favorite quote that gets him through each day is to “Chase goals, not dreams because dreams only comes to those who sleep”.

Music Review for “Saddle Up”

None other than Vanity Fair has recognized the sounds and feel of El Paso! I am TOTALLY serious! What we have known for a long time is getting around; El Pasos music scene has a rich history and it just keeps getting better!

The live and let live feel and it’s outlaw attitude are all parts of what make El Paso’s music so vibrant and, well, REAL! So, let’s talk about Juliu$
aka (Dolla Sign 4 tha S, Asshole From El Paso, Sun City Don) and his hit single “Saddle Up” this is a very strong single. that marks out Juliu$ as an original voice on the hip hop scene both in terms of sound and the depth and variety of his lyrical content.

Overall, this is an inspiring and enjoyable hip-hop track that will be popular with Julius’s existing fanbase and should bring him some new ones. With strong production and a catchy, commercial hook it is also very well suited to radio. Couple that with a great video, and I think Juliu$ may have a hit on his hands.
