Tune With The Real by Gary Daniels(feat. Reks & Akrobatic)
Gary Daniels an outstanding performer and hip hop artist who has previously been featured o. Exposed Vocals is back again to entuce the music scene with another jam entitled “Tune With The Real” another great hit soon to be released! “You already know whats the deal”… the opening of the title track lets you know that this song is a party tune with a hip beat that ‘bumps at the same time a smooth groove that would turn the party up at any occasion.
Beginning at the forefront the intro, a melody that carries you away to a world of clubbing and good times! Full of a medley of various Instruments to hold tempo, melody and bass. Synth-guitar, piano to carry the melody during the chorus and percussions throughout the track provide for easy listening, dancing and excellent for singing along with. The lyrics talk about various stories and are basically an outstanding example of rhyming skillfully to a specific rhythm to showcase lyrical skill. Towards the final moments of the track there is a slight pause that indicates that the track “Tune With The Real” would ‘turn the party up’ long after its finished playing! Better get ready to set this one on repeat! Overall, the lyrics are rich and bold, easily grasped and the track ‘Tune With The Real’ can be categorised as hip hop, however it gracefully leans towards RnB. An Awesome sound that is definetly catchy.
Gary Daniels also known as G.O. as much a businessman as a musician has continued to put out more fabulous music by engaging in direct marketing of his brand and music.
Comes to us again with another explosive track entitled ‘The Rise’.
As he continues to touch the hearts of the listener by writing songs that trigger an emotional response. The featured track is a further example of how G.O. continues to remain consistent with blending himself with his music and has embraced who he is without a doubt! The rise opens with another old-time fav “Let Somebody Love You, its not so hard to do if you try… Try…. Try…”, set on repeat and echoing throughout the entire track as with hip hop in general, electronics play a major role in the creativity processes. The melody is set on repeat when G.O. enters the scene with an introduction of what comes next. Which is a definite party jam!!! The keyboards are a nice pick-up, and it allows for a rocking rhythm the captivates the listener. The bells and cymbals can be heard upon closer listening. The percussions are also welcomed addition because it adds a delicious flavor to the track! The lyrics tell a story of rising from the bottom to the top, the struggle that is being undertaken and is a direct message if how much G.O. has accomplished through his career. “There’s no question I’m on the rise to the sky, the rise to my dreams gonna rise til I die…” “Giving shout outs to the homies”…, and only “…sharing light with the real niggas…” A few select lyrics that define the atmosphere of the track. Definitely, one for the homes! The featured guest rapper Big Pooh, has a that verse that speaks well and shares a story of the way an artist has had enough of the ‘bullshit’ and ‘cuts folks loose’. The lyrics of all three verses speak in general furthermore, showcase the lyrical skill of G.O. Even I can relate to it. Moreover, the instrumentals that the track is later on has everything to do with the featured track The Rise. Overall G.O. has been consistent with his musical endeavors and is looking forward to releasing another mix tape in the Summer of 2015.
