Music Review for ‘Flying to the Money’
Since the Beach Boys in the 60’s, musicians and fans of music have been trying to explain what exactly is going on with the West Coast…
When songs about sunshine and fast cars weren’t cutting it anymore, Dre, Pac and Snoop stepped up and captured the soul of the west coast with their chronic-soaked beats, hazy spirituality and razor-sharp politics.
But when the ’90s ended, West Coast hip-hop faded from the public eye. Until now… The Northern California rap music scene has been a hotbed of talent, creativity, independent grind, and his story is no different. Let me introduce 800Knowledge.
As music evolves, doors are opening for an entirely new generation of talented artists like California area rapper 800Knowledge; who is helping transform the Bay Area music scene with his hit single ‘Flying to the Money’. 800Knowlege is able to keep his moral conscience intact while nonetheless remaining a fundamentally street-oriented artist.
“Wake up everyday and fly to the damn money”
The west coast is known to bring the heat and this song has all of the staples of serious club banger. Check out their Official Music Video for ‘Flying to the Money’ below and be sure to subscribe!
