K. Lifted 208 Hiphop Artist
I am a 22 year old Rapper ,Hip-hop Artist, MC, Producer, engineer, graphic designer… Born and raised in Caldwell Idaho , I grew up in the ghetto of Caldwell in the late 90’s early 2000’s , I’ve always big dreams of being of Musician but It wasnt tell I was in Highschool at Caldwell High School in the lucnline freestyling and all my friends I was with liked it and wanted me to do it everyday so I did and thats when I realized I wanted to be a Rapper but not just a Rapper a complete Musician and Artist from writing, Rapping, producing , Mastering , Graphic Designing , Record label Manager Owner CEO and I have recently been able to record some of my music and get it uploaded online for people to listen to . Im just coming from the bottom trying to make my way out of the ghetto and street out of the poor life and make my dreams come true and inspire and entertain and enlighten many fans at the same time . Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
[K. Lifted]: My names Kenny Haley and I’m 22 years old born June first 1994 in Caldwell, Idaho Where I grew up. What made me decide to become an artist is Ever since I could remember I’ve always been drawn to music something about it always got my attention from playing with toy pianos for kids to keyboards and organs , I joined band in middle school and played the trombone then in my second year of band I played Percussion Mostly the snare drum also all kinds of percussion instruments and it was really fun and a great time and I knew I wanted to be an artist.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
[K. Lifted]: I was chilling with A Homie Nick B. Who’s also an Artist from the 208 , We were kicking back in the studio listening to music chilling and grinding at the same time when he asked me what I was going to go by and I thought about it and decided on K. Lifted because I’m always lifted in the clouds. My inspiration for it was I’m always lifted in the clouds and my visions and dreams for my music just get lifted higher in the clouds as I go .
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
[K. Lifted]: I think online music sharing can be a really good thing when properly utilized and sometimes I do give my music away for free online and I do it so people can have a song or two downloaded without paying but all my music is available for Free Streaming .
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
[K. Lifted]: Just find what makes you happy with your music and do you strive for that goal and find the right audience to target your music to and everything will eventually start to line up but it takes a lot of time and effort I’m still getting everything going but I’ve come along way from when I started.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
[K. Lifted]: I haven’t done any performances yet but I do mess up in the studio all the time and sometimes it frustrated me other times I just take another hit and let it flow out.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
[K. Lifted]:I don’t tour but someday I do plan to.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
[K. Lifted ]:I gather songwriting inspiration from all kinds of things from music I like and new music to TV shows things going on in my life things going on in the world to parting having a good time .Usually I work on a beat then write the chorus and verses to that beat but times the choruses or verses just come to me before I ever work on a beat so I write it dwn and work with it.

[K. Lifted]: Embarrassing songs don’t exist in my music Library its all hiphop/rap nothing but Fire.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
[K. Lifted]: I would use that money to invest into my music to make it even better and further my music career but there would be no year off because a year off is a year wasted when it comes to making Music.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
[K. Lifted]: I am currently planning on upgrading pop filters to a metal one getting a reflection filter upgrading software sound proofing and much more . Right now I’m working with an IKmultimedia Irig Mic Studio and its an amazing compact audio mic I love it , Audio technica ATH-M40X studio monitor headphones a mic stand a laptop fl studio and fl studio mobile and adobe Audition cc.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
[K. Lifted]: I promote my music through social media and by telling people I know about it I also give out my business cards not sure which way works the best for me yet but I’m working on learning more and better ways to promote through social media.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
[K. Lifted]: The place doesn’t matter but the artist would be Tech N9ne. He’s my favorite of all time hands down the best rapper.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
[K. Lifted ]: I’ve been working on a 12 song album called The Enlightenment then lots more coming after.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
[K. Lifted]: I have no idea.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
[K. Lifted]: I honestly don’t remember what it was I was just a kid and I’m sure I just wanted to hear it.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
[K. Lifted]:That’s a tough task but I’ve always been a natural multitasker so it doesn’t put as much of a stress on me but its a stressful thing.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
[K. Lifted]: album’s ,mixtapes, singles ,merchandise hopefully.
