I’m Still Smokin’ By Karosyrup – Exposed Vocals Music Review
Karosyrup a new rapper and hip hop artist from Dallas, Texas. Started out freestyling in the patio at strip clubs in Dallas, Texas. At 23 years old he plans on making ‘big moves’ in 2015 for his rising musical career. The featured track ‘Still Smokin’ is Kayro Syrup’s introduction to the game. “Life doesn’t feel you have to feel for it. Love or hate.” “Today is history in the making so what are you going to do with it”… – Karo Syrup. These are just a few of the down right for real but meaningful quotes that Karo Syrup has been motivated by, that give him that certain ‘drive’ and that unique style of rapping that he possesses. With equal amounts of skill in rapping, art and a business savvy, karo syrup operates an Auto Detailing b business. Motivation comes from various sources. “Get yo business up get yo bread up…” -Karo Syrup.
The following track ‘Still Smokin’ is most definitely an introduction to the game, while simultaneously staying on your grind and staying focused. With A love and respect for the herbs, this artist is in tune with the prospect of getting high and is in the position to share his knowledge and expertise on the subject. By choosing rap music as the platform to get his message across using his keen intellect. Searching for the right beats to use with the music, that would go with the lyrics is a feat that is a priority.
Many nights are spent in the studio when it comes to producing and releasing good music. Using electronics and programmed instruments to create new music is the norm for the production of today’s underground and new era hip hop music. ‘Still Smokin’ begins with a series of swift keyboard strikes along with steady percussion and a series rhythmic hand claps the entire set is set on repeat, that it plays continuously, to complete the unique sound that would have any party jumping and the heads bobbing when listening. “Hold up tho. Roll up bro.. still smokin’…” This introduction is complete and concise as it reflects the ‘stoners mind set’.
He gives shout outs to the cities of Oklahoma and The ‘Sooners’ and Dallas ’cause that’s where his fam is at…”. “…life got me wondering how far I can fly…” There is a slight pause 1 minute and 55 seconds into the track sustained for three seconds. This would be appealing to group dancers and further shows how unique Karo Syrup can be in his choice of beats and rhythms that he uses to produce his music. Overall the track is smooth, well laid out and well planned and the word play is remarkable. Even if you want to just sing along with it, the lyrics are clear enough to understand every word. Look out for more music from Karo Syrup in 2015.
