Hot new interview with Lisa Good
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Lisa Good: I’m from South Africa. I grew up in a very musical family, they just love to sing, wherever we are or whatever we’re doing we just start singing, but none of them thought of taking it as a career, so I decided to take it further and be the first 1 in the family to become a musician.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Lisa Good: Lisa is my middle name. My full name is Sandisiwe Lisa Ntonga but people started calling me Lisa because it’s much easier to pronounce than my other name, then my producers started calling me ‘Good’ cause all things are good when I’m working with them in studio, so I decided to make it my stage name “Lisa Good” cause I love saying I’m all “Lisa Good” when someone asks me how I’m doing hahaha….
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Lisa Good: Music online sharing is great. I do give away my music for free to get more opportunities to push my career and also to test the market, I like knowing what people think of my music.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Lisa Good: My family and friends are very supportive, they help me push my career, so whenever I’m busy they’re also busy, if I don’t sleep they’re also don’t sleep, so I’m never away from them and I love it. So it is through them that I am able to strike a balance between the two.
