Hot new interview with James George
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
James George: I grew up in a small town in East Yorkshire, England. I come from a very musical family and I got introduced to music from an early age. I fell in love with music has soon has i came into contact with it.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
James George: I am a solo artist therefore this is just my name.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
James George: I think that more people can find my music now due to online sharing and it does spread music out quicker. I am happy for people to stream my music.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
James George: Work hard and see results. Put the hours into writing new songs and practice gigs and rewards will come to you.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
James George: Everyone makes a mistake every now and again, after all we are all Human. I haven’t made any huge mistakes on stage nothing that anyone would really notice or pick up on just maybe say the odd wrong word from time to time when singing.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
James George: I am planning to head out on tour very soon around the U.K.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
James George: The songs tends to come to me has opposed to me going to the song. I could be anywhere, in a shop, on a bus and I come up with something in my head at that point I tend to make a rough recording on my phone and then I have the seed. I go to the studio and develop the song into a final product. Life is my biggest inspiration, i observe a lot of the world and keep an eye on whats going on around me.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
James George: I am solo but on tour there is a band, has much has i wish i could unfortunately i cannot play all instruments at once.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
James George: I only listen to good music.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
James George: I would continue writing songs but would swap writing in my studio for a yacht on the Mediterranean.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
James George: Currently working on a new single which will be out autumn 2016.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
James George: Word of mouth and social media.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
James George: I would love to come on and play with the beatles just to experience what it felt like with all those screams.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
James George: New single, video and tour coming up.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
James George: Most probably working in an office doing a 9-5 job.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
James George: My first album was a blink 182 album.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
James George: I start work early in the day and tend to finish late on a night.

James George: New music.
