Heartland by Miss Mission – Exposed Vocals Music Review
Miss Mission an upcoming female rap artist and focused on producing great music has come to the underground hip hop genre an experienced and well rounded rap artist. Besides being a extraordinary in that having experienced a multitude of various skills in various fields from basketball to military service, and yet has the passion, skill and drive it takes to contend with and stake her claim in the ever increasing amount of ‘females that rap’.
Being exposed to all types of music genres been the youngest of four and growing up in a single parent household has given the young artist more than enough foundation to grow from. Not to mention the specific genres of hardcore underground rap music that has inspired her to create the music she does and be skilled with lyrical storytelling, rapping, recording and releasing new music live performance and to top lit off acting in videos with perfect execution and this is only the beginning.
Giving ‘shout out’ to Cleveland Miss Mission is on a non stop ride to fame and fortune. Making good music, telling stories, having fun and getting money are the objective. Being ready to ‘…raise the bar…’ and ‘coming from the heart’, she’s all about business. Fittingly calls it ‘The Mid Western Invasion’, and it is another welcomed addition to the hip hop music scene. With intentions of being In the game for the long haul. ‘Heartland’ begins with synthesized keyboards programmed to sound like violins playing throughout the entire track. Giving it a serious tone that defines a ‘no nonsense’ theme that turn up the party and get people on a dancefloor.
Following the violin cover the percussions that come right in come, in on time and keep a steady rhythm giving the track a grove that would rival the hottest soundtracks of her time and taking ques, espescially from Tupac, along with several of the greatest hip hop rap artists and many other artists’ from the 90s Miss Mission is deemed for greatness.
Overall the song and video are exquisitely performed. The quality of the track is outstanding and the flow is remarkable. I will definitely be on the lookout for more great music form Miss Mission in the near future.
