My name is Leon Simmons aka ObAYE CA$h, CA$h is short for Cashanova, or LL Cool Cash. I was born in LA but I grew up out of North Long Beach. The oldest child, I am a very laid back person who is always thinking. I enjoy all types of music. Started very young making little songs and skits like you see on Facebook and Instagram. The funny stuff. We would tape or video record them. I am a creative minded person who has always lived music. I have gone through many tragic experiences and it has filled me to overflowing with music. I been betrayed and was shot four times out of nowhere for my the color of my skin.
I started writing for my brother and some friends when I was very young. And I practiced like someone who is obsessed until I could speak over any type of beat or rhythm. I love to write even if it’s not for me. I love to come up with ideas with fellow creative people. I am a believer in doing the job right. I rarely need second takes in the studio.
