Calimar White a hip hop rhythm and blues recording artist with ‘a distinctive voice and unique style of his own’ from St Petersburg Florida, currently living in Arlington Texas. Influenced by ‘The Down South Movement’, he has been recording music and producing records for quiet some time and is in the market for making more hits in the near future along side of Trac Solutions Beatz the dynamic producer that he credits for creating the amazing instrumentals that accompany Calimar White’s lyrics.
With several projects in the making the team have plans to release more new music in 2015. As much a poet as an author, Calimar White has been able to create several meanful quotes that also represent him as an individual that most can relate to as well. Such humorous qoutes as ‘With the right music, you either forget everything or you remember everything’… Also, ‘Its crazy how you never run into your haters at the bank, black-tie events, dinner, airport or shopping, only on social media. They can’t even afford to hate you properly…’ and the one that intrigued me the most ‘You can plant the seed, you can water it, but only God can bring the sunshine and cause it to grow’… these are just a few of the thoughts and ideas that generate the creative motivation and desire for Calimar to continue to produce great hits. Calimar credits his grand parents for igniting his love for music and has helped him develope his creativity and ideas.
The featured track Friday is a tribute to and a celebration of the last day of the week Friday. As it speaks and introduces to the listener a rhytm that causes one to sit back and chill. ‘I’m Calimar white Im here to let you know that everything is alright’… the hook … ’cause its Friday…’ is sung and repeated throughout the track in what sounds like a hip version of ‘the chipmunks’ giving the track ‘Friday’ a fun feel. The chorus speaks of how hard he has worked all week and he deserves a break and Friday is welcomed cause theres so much going on during the week the Fridays are looked forward to by the average working person. ‘Ive been working all week… shesh…’ its a wonder how hard he works in reality to create the amazing music that he creates. the “word play is exciting and the groove is relaxing and steady. Periodically giving the tendency of the down south movement. With the perfect setting of a park and family reunion type of vibe. The rhythm and lyrics are expressive and shout outs are given to special persons of interest giving lead to a unique way to display his word play and rhyming skills. Moreover, the ‘party’ atmosphere that listeners would enjoy and want to ‘Turn Up the music and jam’! Overall, the track Friday has potential to be the theme song for that final day of the week that marks the beginning of the weekend. A weekend where everyone that has worked gets a chance to celebrate, relax and enjoy in preparation for the coming week.
I am looking forward to Calimar Whites release of more music that generates a soulful sound that is simultaneously graceful indeed. Furthermore, working alongside Trac Solutions Beatz gives more than enough levels of dynamic and unique creativity to produce further great hits such as Friday.
