We at Exposed Vocals have had the pleasure to sit down with ‘Kaiju The Unconquerable’ to talk about his latest episode ( ep9. GLASSCASE). Kaiju is defining the form as we currently know it, and pushing it to new unpredictable places.

You see, a great music video doesn’t just bring a song to life — often, it lends the song a new one. For the new vanguard of music video directors behind many of the most buzzed about and shared clips of the last few years, spurring plentiful meme-making in the process. EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH KAIJU

Exposed Vocals: Welcome back, Kaiju. If I remember correctly, GOT II: Restoration of Akumetsu had the highest rating we’ve ever given to an artist on Exposed Vocals. That was for Episode 8. Can you tell us a bit about Episode 9?

Kaiju: I’m glad to be back and with a new episode 9 i wanted to have more fun with this one since everyone says my episodes are always serious so i created something that would have a concept of love,relentless,action all in one “Glasscase” is exactly that.

Exposed Vocals: Do people mistake Deangelo Amos (as the Director for GLASSCASE) for being a different person? 

Kaiju: DeAngelo Amos is me. Some people look at the credits and they mistake him as someone I work with… That’s just my professional government name. I direct all my episodes I make the props, fight choreography, character design, script, location, voice acting, casting, costume design ect. Additionally, I write the music and perform it. Now shout out to my Cinematographer Dream Loud Creations this is our 6th visual working together she is great with catching my scenes I set up.

Exposed Vocals: Is there a specific reason you decided to use the year 2038 for the video?

Kaiju: yeah thats a time i feel technology will be advance not only would it be chaos but i feel greed will be more dominant in the 1 percent of those on earth hints why the wanted to kidnap the girl for her organs but i came in as the hero to save the girl but things went crazy after that lol

Exposed Vocals: Can you explain the use of animations in your work? 

Kaiju: this one i wanted to mix Animation/Manga/Reality all in one i wanted to not do a entire visual in Animation i see that as repetitive in the industry so i took it up a notch by showing things can exist not only in 2D also i love Japanese animation and i always desired to be in it or be turn into artwork this was my chance

Exposed Vocals: About 4:45 seconds into the Episode, you walk in to a room like “What the f*ck!?” You drop the gun and pull out a rose and a can whipped cream. I was thinking the same thing… “What the f*ck* It was absolutely entertaining and so far in left field. I think that’s why we love your work so much. Can you go over this scene about with us? 

Kaiju: that was the “funny” in the climax of the visual i wanted everyone to put themselves in a situation after fighting and shooting over a girl you just met telling her youll be her glasscase and you both disappeared in a portal then you exit out looking for her to see if she is safe then she surprises you doing some damn karaoke in a school girl outfit yeah. I think the whip cream and roses was necessary because it gives that “whats missing in the situation oh some whip cream and roses” especially if she looking sexy after all that chaos

Exposed Vocals: Do you want to shout out anyone out that helped make this project possible?

Kaiju: everyone who i cast and all my film crew they most definitely and know i put alot of work into all that i do i strive for quality or quantity so they help deliver that also south beach police for being so damn busy enough to not shut down my visual and for onlookers who saw me with guns in board day and didn’t call the police on me and those delivery trucks who blocked the view in the alley lol

Exposed Vocals: Can we get a sneak peak of Episode 10? 

Kaiju: Episode 10 will be the Finale of season 1 of “KAIJU CANT DIE” the song bangs like crazy and its gonna be something great and raw with alot of dopeness very rugged hardcore shit showing a favorite thing people enjoy blended into a subculture but im very discreet on my works so thats all i can spoil but its coded all i will say is Season 2 will start with Episode 11 that will let you Kaiju will be on-going
