Alessa Ray is a pop singer, songwriter and producer from paraguay based in Los Angeles. Her first single “Mamacita”is a latin pop track in which she mixes spanglish in her lyrics. With her single she got featured in Music Connection Magazine, Pop Dust, La Mezcla and on films/Tv. Musically, she draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of popular musical styles, ranging from salsa to EDM. Her Latest single “Game Over” is an electro tango pop song that was featured in several music blogs and won the bronze medal in the “Global Music Awards”. In December 2018, Alessa Ray was featured in Music Connection Magazine as “the Top 100 Unsigned Artists”.
Exposed Vocals: Thanks for doing our interview Alessa! You have a very interesting story, can you tell us a bit about yourself & where you are from?
Hello! Thank you for having me. I am from Asuncion, Paraguay (South America) and I am a rising singer and songwriter.
Exposed Vocals: What do you feel has been your best musical release thus far into your career?
Best musical release so far is “Mamacita” as it did receive some placements!
Exposed Vocals: . What musicians would you most like to collaborate with?
Ava Max right now. I LOVE her song “Sweet But Psycho”. Clean Bandit as well. That would be my dream.
Exposed Vocals: If you could only be remembered by one song what would it be?
Fight Song- Rachel Platten.
Exposed Vocals: How would you describe your live show to any readers of ours who have not seen your show yet?
It’s been a while since I have performed live. Usually I was performing acoustic, however next time I perform I plan to do a bigger show, with a DJ and dancers.
Exposed Vocals: Every artist has a why. What is your why when it comes to creating music?
Because it’s FUN
– Have fun making others having FUN. We are entertainers!! My why is because I want to make people feel happy.
Exposed Vocals: If you could only listen to one song on repeat for a solid week. What song would you choose?
That’s a tough questions, because it’s per season. Sometimes I am obsessed with certain songs, but there are songs especially classics that I won’t ever get tired of listening to, “My Funny Valentine” is one, also “All that Jazz”.
