Exposed Vocals just interviewed Bronx Rapper ‘Kid Princeee’
Goes by the name Kid of Princeee, this name derives from the influential Prince that passed. The reason he named himself Kid Prince was he went to an afterschool program called Harlem Children Zone and was selected to go to a Prince concert, and seen him personally with Geoffrey Canada the ceo of HCZ. Naming himself Kid Prince is Homage to the late great Prince. Kid Princee style derives from a diverse melodic tune with hardcore raps, he is not afraid to expand his musical boundaries
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I Grew up in the Bronx, NY. I always had a interest in music since the 5th grade because my classmates used to have rap battles and I wasn’t trying to be left out so I started rapping too. What really made me a fan of hip hop was Kanye west late registration and Eminem encore album I had a bootleg album of that and I was bumping my whole 6th grade that was a big stand out for me. What made be become a artist was because of the impact I can make on someone with my music =.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Sometimes but most people don’t notice so I keep going, you cant be nervous for mistakes we are human.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
No Studio upgrades but everything I record is at home, regular recording essentials laptop, mic, audio interface.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
I’m just dropping music until I am done with my upcoming project called pick your poison
