Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in Kansas City, MO. The life I had was rough, but I made the most of it. Because I had such a hard time during the early stages of my life, I found me escape in music. Then around 11 years old, I decided to turn my hobby of singing into a career. Later down the road, that transitioned into singing and rapping.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Be respectful to anyone and everyone you meet because you never know who will be able to open doors for you down the road.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Of course. I don’t make many because I practice my butt off, but when I do make a mistake, I roll with it and cover it up like it didn’t happen.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
I have only been on one tour. On that tour I did not perform. I was a camera man filming a documentary. I plan on going on another tour starting in November as an opening act.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
I plan on hitting the studio again soon. I am currently working on a pop/rap album. Dates to release it are still TBD. It would be cool to release it on my birthday, but we’ll see.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I find that Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat are the best ways for me to promote my music. Out of all of them, I think Instagram works best when it comes to using social media.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
I would love to perform on the stage at the Sprint Center in my home town of Kansas City, MO. If I could choose any artists to perform with, they would be Christina Aguilera, CupcakKe, Kesha, Big Freedia, and Jessie because they all are amazingly talented.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Besides my album, all I’m planning on is to finish writing my tv show and movie screen plays while hunting for a chance to travel the world and show off my talents.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
I would be filming a movie somewhere, but I’ll be doing that anyway, along with making music.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
Fans should look forward to a remix of my first single “Party Like a Pornstar”. This remix will be featuring CupcaKke.
