Exposed Vocals just caught an interview with Gotti Mirano “Know the rules, but break them when necessary”
Born in Mexico City, but raised in Dallas, Texas Gotti Mirano has never been afraid of boundaries, in fact he lives by ‘Know the rules, but break them when necessary.” As he charts the path for his music career.
Inspired by artist like Kanye West, Biggie, Big L, Mac Miller and Three 6 Mafia. His career started in 2012 at the Age of 19 with his first mixtape ‘Substance Abuse’. He generated so much positive feedback he was driven to create more. Inspired by his daughters to work hard not only to connect with them and make them proud, but also his fans.
He loves experimenting with various genres, due to this he has built a following in over 58 different countries. He’s generated over a million plays on Spotify and he’s been charted on Spotify’s Top 50 viral hits, being at #3 on the US and #6 on the international charts.
G.A.R has been on tour with Skippa da Flippa, Wale, and Cypress Hill. Soon he’ll be doing shows with Boome, Z-Ro & Slim Thug along with a Tune Tank Tour with Mike Digg on the East Coast. He’s excited to be working on a new self-titled concept album with producers’ Frosty G and El Pastor.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I felt a calling for art since a young child, I just decided to pursue one day.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Try to do everything yourself do as much research as You can
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
I try not to mess up but if it ever does happen I would try to come back from it as smooth as possible
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
I recently went on tour with Skippa da flippa and, I found out that certain fans can get a bit obsessive
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
We use pro-tools, Im pretty happy with it.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
For me Spotify works best!
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
I would do warehouse live with Drake, because that’s where Drake first performed in Texas, and because Texas is my home state.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
2018 I will be releasing singles only.

Probably something either boring or illegal.
