Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
BLOW_FLYY: I grew up in a small Black community outside of Halifax Dartmouth Nova Scotia call North Preston, I first decided about music when I was in high school writing poetry.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
BLOW_FLYY: BLOW_FLYY came from my father, people called him that when he was younger and in music himself thats what inspired me to carry this name BLOW_FLYY.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
BLOW_FLYY: I think online music sharing is great for the fans and if used the write way to promote an artist/Band it is good also for that artist/Band, I use to give 1 or 2 tracks away for free for Promo purposes.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
BLOW_FLYY: yes, my tip is follow your dream and be as professional as you can while learning everything you can about this industry, and if you have a manager listen to what he tells you and believe in what he is doing for you.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
BLOW_FLYY: I try not to make mistakes when I’m performing if I do I just improvise so the fans wont even notice.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
BLOW_FLYY: I haven’t toured as of yet, My team is so focused on mobile(cell phones) and online marketing and Promo, $$Streaming and $$sales
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
BLOW_FLYY: I gather my inspiration for songwriting by everything that I see and hear that goes on around me and even what I actually experience, then if I feel something I will remember what I seen, heard and experienced then I write about it.
