Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
DC : I’m a music artist from Joliet Il. I grew Up on the South Side & what made me decide to become a artist was because I always enjoyed hip hop/ music in general & growing up being poor hip hop was always something I related to also my cousins were rapping years ago & always had a studio so that’s what made me start rapping.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
DC : uhhh really I couldn’t think of a name to call myself I kept it original & used the initials to my name.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
DC : Online music sharing is great promotion, It’s the key to all the young fans because everyone is on social media and yes all the time my music is available on Spinrilla, Soundcloud, & YouTube and I give it away free because that’s the key to getting your fan base up.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
DC : I Would say, Believe in yourself even when nobody else does because if you truly believe in something then you could actually make it happen so never give up no matter how hard life is.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
DC : Not necessarily, Well I Don’t recall making any so far besides getting the crowd more involved when I first started doing shows but other than that I kinda figured out what I have to do to get everyone involved in my performances now.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
DC : I actually haven’t toured yet I do plan on it in the future when I get more exposure and more people hear me.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
DC : A lot of my music is inspired by the way I grew up, the household & basically how I came up I was influenced by my pops most because I grew up without my real pops around. My usual songwriting process tbh just goes off vibes, the way I’m feeling at the time.

DC : you won’t find too many embarrassing songs in mines maybe a couple old ones on my soundcloud
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
DC : I would take care of my OG, brothers & sister & make sure they straight, put money behind my music to invest in, & go to the trap
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
DC : I recently started recording at a professional studio my homie hooked me up on I was recently recording my Road to glory Mixtape & the majority of RTG 2 mixtape out of my cousins basement.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
DC : I just stay active on social media constantly posting my music all throughout the day. You have to make people notice your music.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
DC : I would like to perform with my Twin Brother La Pooh, No disrespect to any of the major artist but I say this because this my twin brother & this what we dreamed of & talk so much about, it wouldn’t be no better without my brother on my side performing at The Madison Square Garden with me.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
DC : Yes I’m working on my second mixtape called Road To Glory 2 dropping Sep 22nd on Spinrilla, live mixtapes & my mixtapes.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
DC : honestly selling drugs
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
DC : No I don’t actually think I ever bought an album tbh
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
DC : I try to find time for everything, Family, friends, & music and basically try to stay on top of my game & stay focused.

DC : More Videos, More of RoadGang Music, I’m on the come up & got a lot of hot music on the way.
