Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Pierce Alexander Lilholt: I haven’t grown up yet. I was born an artist.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Pierce Alexander Lilholt: My parents picked it for me. I am very inspirational.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Pierce Alexander Lilholt: I think online music sharing is great. I always give my music away for free. Why??? I don’t think as many people would hear it if I suggested that they pay me for the pleasure.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Pierce Alexander Lilholt: I believe www.ContactRadioStations.com is a great place to start if airplay is what you are looking for. I also believe there is a great deal of value to be found with networks like Musician International. It is also important to trust in professionals who know the region and the audiences you wish to reach. Yellow Star Studios is huge in Hollywood, and I couldn’t think of better support on the West Coast. Leveraging organizations like www.MusicAwardBureau.com to attain credentials of achievement for you presskits can also make a huge difference when reaching out to radio stations. The International Music Award Bureau is best known for the West Coast Music Award, the East Coast Music Award, the NYC Music Award, the Philadelphia Music Award, the Philly Soul Award, the Sound Wave Award, and www.2016music.com. These awards are widely recognized as achievements and validations amongst radio producers and musicians alike.
