Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in a neighborhood known as oak park in Sacramento California. Growing up in my neighborhood there was a lot of
shootings gang violence and things of that nature didn’t know how to express what I was saying or how I was feeling until I was able
to put it on paper and that’s what led me into music.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and
airplay some tips?
of course I was going to shows even if I wasn’t performing just to network. Meet people in the same field. Reach out to people
in similar fields and begin exchanging information.. networking alone can help establish your presence.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
I make mistakes all the time during performances whether it be me overthinking or slight technical difficulties. You have to
push through it clear your mind and enjoy your music as if you’re a fan listening to it from the audience
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
yes just got off of tour with Mozzy .. The Santa Barbara show was lit.. The craziest thing is the interaction you get with your
fans , seeing the impact of your music on strangers is A good feeling… seeing your work being appreciated is a motivating factor
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
I work with a really good producer name Qmade the beat .. it’s all about effort making sure you’re willing to go over something
until it comes out the way it supposed to.. we don’t settle for less
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I promote my music on sound cloud iTunes and different outlets be a promotional packages . you have to be willing to invest
in yourself
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
I would want to perform on the East Coast never been there there’s something about it that’s calling me and I would choose to
perform with none other than Tupac Shakur.. yes I grew up listening to Tupac the struggle the progression black excellence.. I feel
the struggle
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
I have my second album about to drop in August “4k” I have some good features on this album(lil darrion , june on da beat ,
blue jeans) this is The story of my progression through my lowest times most of this album was written when I was doing time in San
Quinn
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
if I wasn’t making music I would just be behind the scenes I also song write and direct . I have a passion for this field so I’m
going to be somewhere in it.
