Exposed Vocals just caught an exclusive interview with Young PAC
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in New Iberia, Louisiana its 30 minutes South East of Lafayette. I also lived in Lafayette for remainder of my Young Hood.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Really just make sure your music is marketable to an extent cause people don’t just want anything played on their venues, radios, etc. Always make sure the music has a base to it, some official meaning.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
I do make a few mistakes, my biggest one yet is watching how much breath I put out on my songs I tend to get real hype and rap real hard my temp on my songs are pretty fast as well but I can also contain the problem at times. Overall my performance makes for great shows.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
I have not had the opportunity to your yet. But I am definitely hoping for it one day.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
I’m working with the Labels programs we got Garage Band that’s the program I have got to start with and get familiar with. I am only 20 right now so I’m soaking up as much knowledge as I can with this studio equipment.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I just share my music as much as I can try to find big spots to share my music. I have a lot of local support as well as the people back home in Louisiana.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
I would love to sell out an arena like MGM Grand and I would definitely choose Wiz Khalifa cause he’s my favorite artist ever.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Next I have plans to get to an album its my next goal I want to achieve with the Mugen Music And Management Label. I have numerous ideas and I can’t wait to try and bring them to the light. But I have my “The Young Hood Mentor” series to continue on I have “The Young Hood Mentor Vol. 1: Class In Session” which is on Datpiff I also plan on starting a new series QHM (Quality Hood Music) that will be a tape where I load up with features and hopefully I can have hosts on it as well thats the goals I’m pushing toward.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
I honestly dont know lets just say im thankful for making music.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
