Exposed Vocals just caught an exclusive interview with ‘Fize Cash’

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Fize Cash: Growing up I moved around a lot but I’m a New Brunswick native. I always had love for music I was just interested in it.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Fize Cash: Fize  is my name but I got cash cuz I always out getting cash or having it with me.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Fize Cash: I think online music sharing is good especially if you up and coming. And yea most of music is free. Cuz people need to hear greatness.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Fize Cash: Just keep grinding and networking.

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Fize Cash: Performance I just vibe out and If I make a mistake nobody really gon notice I just b play it off and keep on going.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Fize Cash: I aint on tour yet Im still workin on that. I know its gonna be crazy when I start tho.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Fize Cash: I get songwriting inspiration from the beat, my freestyles and what im goin thru at times. Sometimes the beat just talks to me. I usually come up with the hook before I spazz on the verse, but I aint got the hook yet I go in on the verse first

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Fize Cash: I use Soundcloud, Instagram, Twitter are the music platforms I use that’s regular.

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

Fize Cash: I wouldn’t really say anything embarrassing cuz I listen to everything beside Rock, country and Jazz Soul.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Fize Cash: If I was given half a million dollars I would invest most of it in myself and get my moms a car. I promised myself I was gonna get her a car before I get rollie. Shit and I would be driving my hoopties and rockin the same clothes til I start getting show money.

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

Fize Cash: Right now I got pro tools 11 and my Mic and shit I still be recording at my boy Zues house tho.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

Fize Cash: I don’t really know what works best I just keep reposting my stuff and grindin.

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?

Fize Cash: I would wanna perform with Wayne and anymore that’s my fav rapper.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Fize Cash: Ima keep dropping songs but expect a tape on my birthday 2/14/96.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Fize Cash: If I wasn’t doin music idk what I would be doin.

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

Fize Cash: My first album I got was 50 Cent Get Rich Or Die Tryin in my head I was like damn this shit is crazy. I was in house wit my white beater on and durag on performin his album in our apartment I was like 6.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Fize Cash: Juggling is the hardest part but you just gotta stay focused.

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

Fize Cash: The tape and more music, and more projects from me and my boy Bias.
