Exposed Vocals just caught an exclusive interview with Donna kruz
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an Artist?
Donna kruz : I was born in Kosovo, and grew up in Denmark. When I came to Denmark In a Early age, I got signed up in various dance schools, which I discovered the true love between me and the music. I really loved being on stage and perform, so I was in some acting classes to, after a couple of years I wanted to sing as well, so I signed up to the singing choir, which I loved very much. – so That made me decide that I wanted to sing all my life.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Donna kruz : Well my name is Donjeta, but since I was a little girl, everyone have called me Donna, and Kruz is just a last name that I always loved, I don ́t know why !
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Donna kruz : Well what really matters to me is, that People enjoy my music. 🙂
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Donna kruz : I think it ́s important to be yourself. – And use social media, to create the message and send it out to the world, to be heard and seen.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Donna kruz : yes ! I have,when I really was nervous, but I just pull myself together, and think that I ́m there to acutely have fun, and entertain .
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Donna kruz : I have never try it before, since I ́m a new singer in the music industry, but I ́m pretty sure that is fun !
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Donna kruz : I have not done much of writing myself, since I only got two songs out. I ́m working on two other songs, but I think I will start writing as well.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Donna kruz : Right now It’s just On Itunes, Deezer, Spotify, and Soundcloud. But I will soon create my own website.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Donna kruz : When I was 11, I made 3 cover songs, which I think It ́s a bit embarrassimean. – It’s good but It’s not a song I would love to share lol.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Donna kruz : First buy my mom a real nice house, cause she always ben there for me. donate some of the money to the charity, Then use the rest on music, and hopefully to achieve succes !
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Donna kruz : I work in a kindergarten as a teaching assistant
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Donna kruz : Social media, – ( Facebook, fb fanpage, Instagram )
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Donna kruz : With 2 pac In Egypt . I got a lot of great singers that I would love to perform with, but 2 pac ( R.I.P ) he is that person that I would prefer to perform with, If he was Alive, and I could choose.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Donna kruz : I ́m working on 2 songs, One song will be me and another great artist, I won ́t tell yet who ! 🙂 And my second song will be me singing a club song, ( R& B / Dance MIX )
