Will’s story reflects his love of basketball, his admiration of pioneers in the music business and a small twist of fate that sidelined him from basketball and placed him on the path of melodies and music. At 6’4″ and 200 pounds, Will’s presence is hard to miss. It seemed natural that basketball would be part of his life and it was until a fatal knee injury took him away from college basketball and into the arena of show stopping entertainment. Will’s full service music business, known as (RMG) Ready Music Group, is built for success. Will views the injury as a blessing in disguise, one which he capitalized on through his music and keen business savvy.
Will is the total package Smooth R&B, Soul, Jazz entertainer. His quests has landed him on the international radar with welcoming fans in Europe, Japan and the Caribbean. Will has opened shows for music legends such as Chaka Khan, The Temptations, The Whispers, Al Jarreau, Zapp, Midnight Star, Slave, and Howard Hewitt amongst others.

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in Battle Creek Mi/Memphis Tn. I was always told I had a very soothing speaking voice, got hurt playing basketball, decided to try singing.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
I came up with the name by cutting my real name in half. Inspiration behind it was , i was ready to perform.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Online Music Sharing, it’s okay to a point. When you sign up for my mailing list, you’ll receive a free download.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Beginning & local artist, should be willing to perform for free, to get their name out there. Airplay, go for internet, college radio first.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Yes I’ve made mistakes in my shows, but no one knows it unless you make it obvious, keep going.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Yes I tour. The most interesting thing that happen was, I was how well we were treated and accepted.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
My songwriting inspirations come from life experience. When I write, I like to be alone and focused.

Embarrassing Songs: Not embarrassing, but funny, Do Da Damn Thang.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
If I had a 1/2 million dollars & the year off, I’d vacation with my family & help people in need.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Most of the producers I work with have studios, but I do plan on getting one this year.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Word of mouth is always best, but I promote my music at shows, at the store, social media, commercials, parties, etc…
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
If I could perform anywhere and with anyone, I would perform in Madison Square Garden, with Michael Jacson.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
What’s next is my new album, Black Coffee, due to be released, October, 15th, 2016, the video for it, merchandise for it and a Black Coffee Tour!
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
If I wasn’t making music, I’d own a club/restaurant.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Yes I remember buying my first album, It was James Brown, Sex Machine. What was going through my head was, I have to get this album somehow.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
I love what I do, I do it everyday. I’ve been fortunate enough to make a living doing what I love, so I stay prayed up, in shape, network, network, network and have fun doing it. Not a juggle just part of my everyday life.
