Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?

Vórtex: Bom, fiquei sabendo através do Twitter, pois me mandaram uma mensagem sobre a entrevista. O que me fez decidir a me inscrever, foi pelo fato de mostrar meus trabalhos que venho fazendo, mostrar o lado bom do psytrance.

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Vórtex: Nasci no brasil, estado do parana cidade de araucaria, ainda quando criança, viemos para o estado de santa cataria, cidade de rio do sul, onde vivo até hoje.

Desde criança sempre gostei de musica todos os generos, quando tinha meus 7 anos, tinha um rádio a pilha, escutava todos os dias, o dia inteiro e na hora de ir dormir, pegava meu fone, deitava, e dormia escutando musica, ai com o tempo fui cada vez mais gostando de musica, e assim fui ouvindo. Anos se passaram até que um dia, escutei Skazi, I wish, cara que música era aquela, só escutava aquela, e assim foi indo ao passar dos anos. Dai pra frente meu sonho era ser Dj. Conheci um amigo Carlos Eduardo Moraes (KADU), que tinha o mesmo sonho que o meu, nossa amizade só aumentava, e queriamos realizar esse nosso sonho de ser Dj, de viver da musica, pois tinhamos um amor enorme pela musica. Ai que começamos a fazer festas na casa dele, usamos o Virtual dj haha.

Ele comprou um par de cdj 200 e um mixer, ele me ensinou a usar a cdj. e nossas festinhas eram sempre as melhores. E por ai foi, até que chegou um dia eu penssei, cara eu preciso fazer essas musica, n quero mais ficar tocando musica dos outro. e aos 21 anos, decidi fazer curso de produção musical, que venho me dedicando até hoje, em estudos para fazer o melhor.

He bought a pair of cdj 200 and a mixer, he taught me to use the CDJ. and our little parties were always the best. And so it was, until one day I came penssei, man I need to do this music, n wanna be playing music of another. and at age 21, I decided to do music production course, I have been dedicating myself to this day, in studies to do the best.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Vórtex: Na verdade, estava sem Idéia para nomes de projeto, um amigo meu que me ajudou com nome de Vórtex, que vem de vértice, é um escoamento giratório onde as linhas de corrente apresentam um padrão circular ou espiral. São movimentos espirais ao redor de um centro de rotação. Praticamete tudo a ver com psy trance.

Vórtex: Eu acho uma maravilha, pois também baixo musicas.

Minhas musica deixo para baixar, pois como não sou muito conhecido, pessoal vai la baixa a musica e se gostar ele vai falar para outras  pessoas, e se as outras pessoas gostarem, elas vao baixar e falar para outras, e assim vai.

Na verdade nem uma, pois só tenho musicas psytrance.
