Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Steven G: We Grew up in California in orange county, For me I enjoy rapping with my brother freestyle and just doing it for fun!

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Steven G: when we’re writing we always got a blunt rolled up and ready to go as we get to ready to spit our lyrics. We are hoping someone around the world is listening to our song rolling up a bleezy as well chilling enjoying life doing their thing.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Steven G: Online music sharing is great! I always give my shoutout to the producer and im always there to just do it for the music. I don’t make nothing from this music right now all this is just to show everyone that we are here and we are here to stay. Fuck what you think fuck what you know its about the music its about hearing the voice, what the artist himself has to say.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Steven G: RadioAirplay is what I been using and its really cool to know that I got people from Germany listening to my track! Its really awesome

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

Steven G: Shit when I go on a stage Im ready to go whenever wherever it don’t matter where the fuck it is im gonna rip it and kill it! When I go on in stage my immediate reaction is to kill whoever goes after me, I don’t give a fuck if im rapping or if im doing standup comedy nobody gonna give a fuck about you after I hit the stage

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Steven G: I have performed comedy and a couple different venues, one time I went to a winery and I was talking about sex infront of a whole bunch of old people and it was pretty cool because it was so awkward I felt the slow but silent claps it was funny as fuck

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Steven G: We listen to a couple different artists from around the world to get inspired! I fuck with all the rappers trying to get the bread! Were all in it together! I been hated on for many years but im now saying fuck it lets keep it going.

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

Steven G: captain obvious was recording two years ago with me and the homie johnnyg.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Steven G: I would invest in different businesses to make sure the cash flow never stops and I would donate to charities.

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

Steven G: sharing on social media sites facebook, youtube etc.

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?

Steven G: I would perform with Tupac Shakur, Shit I would like to smoke a blunt with him to just dissect his mind.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Steven G: Focusing on making more videos for my songs and just getting out there and showing the world I got a voice.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Steven G: I would be filming short films on my own, hiring actors and co writing scripts.. You see there are a lot of people out there who wanna use your talents for their greed and when they get what they want drop you in a heartbeat I been filming with people I been on the rode ive done all that bullshit its time to do something different fuck everybody who trying to rob me of my gift.

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

Steven G: It was the Eminem first LP it was something else… I remember sitting there and being inspired writing some twisted raps about being in the hospital with nurses hahah

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Steven G: I have a job I work my ass off Im always busy! But I always find time to roll a blunt and get shit going 😉
