Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

SHAEZY:  well i grow up in a place where someone someone have to fight before he or she could get something to eat..well i think music choose me cause ever since i was small i could barely think of something else except music..even when my mum said i had to go to school and become a lawyer..i still see myself at the studio always…always had the dream.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

SHAEZY: is my Nick name people knows me with that,is a short word picked from my name (chiagozie)…the inspiration behind the name..whenever i remembered the word shabby i looked back from where i started and know that i have a lot to fix…to my understanding shabby is another name for poverty.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

SHAEZY: well is very Good…cause we are now at the era where people deal with internet..and talking about music sharing,it explores the music and also make it to be viral…yes i do give my music free…the reason for that is simple..as an upcoming artist my mind now is not all about money but to think of a better music that people will love to know the artist cause they say that he that knows people a lot is better that someone who has money..

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

SHAEZY:  YES

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

SHAEY: i always listen to 90s blues..it makes me calm..and when am calm i write up a song…i record them on phone cause is like a flash it comes and go

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

SHAEZY: NO…i use soundcloud

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

SHAEZY: i will keep on writing my songs…i will open up a record label which has already been my dreams

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

SHAEZY: i look for a marketer and a blogger…blogging

SHAEZY: NOTHING…..No

SHAEZY:  i will be a lawyer

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

SHAEZY: is not easy for me…but in all things i try to put music first before anything

SHAEZY: I will always keep giving them Good music
