Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Ruinissimple: Exposed Vocals followed my on twitter.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Ruinissimple: Argyroupoli, Athens, Greece. The first time I holded a guitar in my hands.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Ruinissimple: To create is difficult but to destroy is simple.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Ruinissimple: I think the sharing via internet is a good way for music and arts in general to go around, I encourage free sharing and I do share some of my songs for free because the fact that some people can’t afford music and also it’s a good thing to share.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Ruinissimple: Don’t be afraid to ask anyone.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Ruinissimple: Everyone sometime will make one, so I did. I tried to make it sound good. I think it worked all times.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Ruinissimple: I have played with my previous bands some shows in local places. I’ve never been on a tour and actually I don’t think ruinissimple is able yet to tour or even have a live performance since I am alone in this right now and I can’t perform these songs to their entirety alone.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Ruinissimple: I get inspired by everything around me, good or bad. My usual songwriting process is thinking, imagine a melody, a riff, or a rhythm and then try combine the best way the other parts of the tune, recording, mixing, re-recording/re-arranging/re-thinking sometimes and when it’s sounding good to me it’s done.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Ruinissimple: I share free on Soundcloud.com and my videos on YouTube.com . I don’t have a website.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Ruinissimple: Country Boner by Puscifer. But I like it.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Artist: Propably travel around.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Ruinissimple: I can’t tell you.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Ruinissimple: I don’t promote my music at all. I just have these social media networking and I get to share music with my friends and fans.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Ruinissimple: Jimmy Hendrix ’cause he is a true genius and a unbelievable guitar player.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Ruinissimple: I’m currently working on a album titled ‘Artificial Corruption’ and there are some songs that need some vocals and lyrics in the moment on my agenda. I think they will be ready in a month or so.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Ruinissimple: Probably being very bored.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Ruinissimple: It was Slipknot’s Vol.3 The Subliminal Verses. I knew the band, big fan, and I was rushing to get it and get back home to listen to it.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Ruinissimple: I don’t rush things. I get along quite good.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2015?
Ruinissimple: More things to came. ‘Artificial Corruption’ for sure.
