Exposed Vocals Interviews Pietro Lima
Pietro Lima, born in Santa Rita do Sapucai, Minas Gerais, but raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Interested in music since childhood, his mother he sang and his older brother was a musician, had gradual participation in the Rock, but was in the Hip-Hop been interested and formed NoisPorNois with his childhood friend Thiago (TH), group that They have released several singles and a video clip. Today, it is rapper, songwriter and producer of his own studio, Zero Records.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Pietro Lima: I grew up in Mauá, the ABC of São Paulo, Brazil. But it was in Minas Gerais I met Thiago TH and my interest in music grew, where we started the project ‘NoisPorNois’ and recently I founded ‘Zero Records’.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Pietro Lima: I particularly do not have a stage name, usage my last name. But NoisPorNois name comes from a group of friends long before hip-hop idea, then prefirimos to use the name because it represent  a lot is the hang of that we live and our friendship.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Pietro Lima: I believe which music sharing is essential, whether paid or not. if you are not famous, nobody will willing to pay to hear you, because you they do not know. is complicated an artist have to pay to being disclosed or even not win anything, but it is necessary.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Pietro Lima: Yes, because I see that the greatest artists should always help those who are below, no matter how, but it helps. Because surely has room for everyone.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Pietro Lima: Yes, several times. But I always try to improvise on time, because this is consequence of work, one time or another will happen.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Pietro Lima: Once a show in interior of São Paulo, in a Chopperia was a much older personnel who were seeing the previous band, but when we started to sing and sent a ‘speed flow’ realized their face that they were not understanding anything , it was very funny.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Pietro Lima: I usually wait a situation in my life happen to be able to get her some inspiration because so can to be more true in my words.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Pietro Lima: I have the site of my group, in addition to platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud, and soon will be less on Spotify. I also have my social networks like Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Pietro Lima: Maybe some more polemics music or even songs that do not seem to listen, but actually I like, like samba.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Pietro Lima: Would spend with a studio where I can have everything I need, not only for me but for other interested artists too. And who needed help, because I can not stay away from music.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Pietro Lima: We are planning on finish our first EP and start a tour to promote it well.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Pietro Lima: we use the various platforms that we can, be free or not, Facebook is our largest network, but other we are doing a good share too.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Pietro Lima: I would like to do a show with three great artists that inspire me a lot, no matter where, but with them: Sabotage, Chorão (Charlie Brown Jr.) and Eminem.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Pietro Lima: the next is to release our first EP, titled ‘Conexões’ and initiate plans stopped on account of the work itself.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Pietro Lima: I was studying Architecture and Urbanism, because it was always my second dream.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Pietro Lima: My first album purchased if I’m not mistaken was an Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stadium Arcadium. At the time I was a fan of them, I am still today, but before it was a big thing for me.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Pietro Lima: I always look for keep everything in order of priority, the music comes first and try to to organize the work so that get out everything right and planned.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?
Pietro Lima: Are to look and see what NoisPorNois and Lima even more evolved and advanced, there is still much to happen, just wait they will not be disappointed.
