i am JENTLE BREEZ, a Cameroon base afro artist from the north west region of Cameroon. the last in a family of two boys two girls now currently base in douala. music is my passion, i started doing music far back in the days of my primary school and i love doing it because i find joy and happiness in it and i also make some cool cash from it too. Exposed Vocals: How did you get that name? What was your inspiration behind it?JENTLEBREEZ: jentle breez actually is a metaphor used to represents my character, the inspiration came when i was loocking for something that can presents me in not morethan two words. Exposed Vocals: What do you think about sharing music online? Give your music for free? Why?
JentleBreez:online music sharing is good becouse it permits you to reach out to many with just a click on the share button. for now as an upcomer, i gve out my music for free to easily get the attention of music lovers,connect them to my music and brand, hence preparing them to be hunger for more of me of which i can then give a price tag for my subsiquence songs.. Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give groups or more or less local artists seeking concerts and Airplay some advice? JentleBreez: pushfullness, prayerfull, determination and above all…….believe.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual writing process?
JentleBreez:my songs are almost my day to day realities. they come to me according to my current situations. thou i ddo concerntrate my mind at times when i need some special kind of songs. my first important technic is a cachy hook or chorus. that possion in a song that explain the whole song with sweetness and also permits your listeners to sing along with you.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
JentleBreez:no website at the moment. just my facebook band page and my other social media accounts. bloggers too do help me out alot to spread out my melodies
Exposed Vocals: If you have received half a million dollars a year, what would you do? How do you spend?
JentleBreez: there are a lot of talented artists in my locality who are facing financial problems. with such money, i will do my best to bring out real talents like me to the lamlight. i will also reach out to orphans, widows and finaly better off myself and my family.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
JentleBreez: i do online and offline promotion. they both are realy working in online seems to dominate.
Exposed Vocals: So what’s next? All new upcoming projects you want to talk?
JentleBreez: upcoming video for my single “dodokido” and other singles on their way too. real stuff.
Exposed Vocals: If you do not do music, what would you do?
JentleBreez:music is me. can not realy do without it. but football and grphic designing are my other passions.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your life to music?
JentleBreez: i know that am living two deferent lifes. so i know how to manage my normal day to day life and my music life without clash.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
JentleBreez: more good arts, consistency and positivity. Chat conversation end
