Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

H!ghBreed: I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Moved to AAchen, Germany at age 10, at 11 my family moved to Los Alamos, NM. I joined the U.S.Army at age 17 and  served for almost 10 years. Since I was constantly relocating growing up and as an adult music was always there for me. No matter what my mood would be there would always be a perfect song to match it.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

H!ghBreed:

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

H!ghBreed: I love it. I use soundcloud all the time. I haven’t given out my songs for free.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

H!ghBreed: I am still trying to climb the ladder my self

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

H!ghBreed: Usually outdoors, when I go on hikes its perfect to fully concentrate on a song.Its quite and peaceful.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

H!ghBreed: I would spend almost all of that money on studio equipment. And if I have anything left I would take my parents and my brother  on vacation

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

H!ghBreed: I use social media, and also go to a lot of events

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

H!ghBreed: I am getting ready to release and LP album by the end of october

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

H!ghBreed: I also love to cook so probably a chef

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

H!ghBreed: I constantly surround myself with music no matter what I am doing I would be always listening to it.
