My advice is to seek GOD daily for guidance about the direction you want to go in with your music. I have a gift to re write pop songs and turn them into gospel songs like Twinkie Clark and James Cleveland. I love doing it and seeing people reaction to me sing a pop song now turn into a gospel song. Also do not give up on your dream of doing it! Sometimes it will be hard as new artist or group and you might want to walk away but believe that GOD gave you this gift to help people!
