Exposed Vocals Interviews Andrew Black
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Once i finally opened an account With Twitter, Exposed records was kind enough to follow me, and later on message me asking if i was interested in a interview. So of course i had to say yes.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I was born here in Miami, Florida. I was raised by my mother, because daddy didn’t stick around ( oh well ). My mother was always doing something with music her whole life. From being on a music radio channel with my father, before having My older sister, me , and our baby brother. To singing opera. She always taught me that music was a very passionate substance. I later learned through my own trials and tribulations that Music directly linked you and your inner most feelings together to display and revile its beauty and wisdom to the people and your self at times. To let everybody know that they are not alone, and to combine your sanity to your madness. A song can become the Yin to your Yang. That is the soul purpose why i make my music today. It is not for the fame, it is most definitely not for the money. I want to show the people that its ok to hurt at times, it is ok to feel anger, but what is not ok is not learning from it at and not pushing forward. Life must continue from its hideous encounters to full fill its beautiful quests.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
My name is a combination of my real first name Andrew and self created last name “Black” that came to me at a very dark time in my life. Everything that i did before manifesting that name for my self dragged me into a hole that i felt was eternal. But after being in the dark for so long i adapted to the black abyss, and honed my past to very quickly learn how power i really was.
Even though it is difficult to think of my mistakes, i carry this name “Andrew Black” to constantly remind my self of where i came from and where i don’t ever wish to return.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
I love online music sharing, it is a very efficient way to get your scriptures out to the masses. I have my music on Reverb Nation for free download. I feel like life lessons should be free. Andrew Black | Experimental from Miami, FL

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
I used to be that guy who always had his friken eyes closed and stiff as a board on stage. But after practicing in front of a mirror, and recording my performances i rapidly corrected my appearance. Remember, your performance is a direct illustration of your Music.
