Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in greenwood a small town in south carolina, not very much to do here except something productive. i decided to use my musical talents to become the artist/producer i am today.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
my legal name is Hunter but everyone has always pronounced it hunna so i decided on 1hunna

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
I love it because it gets your name out there, and yea i give away music for free it helps me get more fans you can’t just be like hey i know you’ve never heard of me before, but buy music.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
promotion if you aren’t willing to put money into it give up today you’re not gonna get out there unless you’re promoting your music and 1 way or the other you’re going to have to put a very large chunk of money into your music

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
i haven’t yet but i’m sure the day will come so i guess i’ll just have to brush it off and keep going.

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Not currently i do local shows but nothing major i’m thinking about doing some coast 2 coast mixtape stuff in the near future.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
i make the beat first most of the time unless i get a song idea first then i make the beat around it. it usually comes to me when i’m busy doing something, so i have to try and remember it all day.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
i have music on Itunes, google play and pretty much everywhere you can get digital music. i promote on twitter, facebook, and youtube for now

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
idk if i listen to it it doesn’t embarrass me lol. i like all sorts of music i try not to be narrow minded.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
i would make beats, and music, promote it on facebook, twitter, and youtube and grow my following even more then i could make even more money the next year.

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
well i’m always upgrading if i see something new i like and can afford. It’s really draining money wise but i love it so what can you do? i have had my eye on a maschine beat pad for a while but haven’ gotten around to buying one just yet.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
I’ll put a beat on facebook and put tag a rapper that would kill this beat and then put a 20$ ad on it it goes alot further than you’d think i got around 10,000 plays one time off just that.

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
definitely wanna do the super bowl one day because let’s face it that’s the biggest show you could ever get yea i’m a dreamer right? As for artist dead or alive id probably pick bob marley, kurt cobain, adele, and eminem.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
I’m working on an album titled Nebula right now as far as a release date i haven’t decided i have to save up a bunch of money to promote before i put it out so i’m not rushing it and i put new beats out on a regular basis look for 1hunna beats on youtube.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Good question maybe video game design or something creative that’s the only way my mind works creatively.

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
I really can’t remember that i’m raking my brain but can’t seem to find an answer for that one.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
it’s hard i always end up messing everything else up trying to put music first i’ll get behind and wanna take off from work to catch up they tell me my priorities are out of order but we’ll see maybe they’re right but it’s my passion so it has to be first.

New music New beats new 1hunna music i’m not saying it’s my big year or anything but i’ll be on the grindstone!
