Exposed Vocals Interview with Emory
Exclusive Interview:
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
I found out about exposed vocals on twitter.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I was born in Arkansas Little Rock. I grew up in Little Rock and 365 Marche Arkansas. Little Rock the city and 365 Marche the country. I’m city and country so you get the best of both worlds. The reason I became a artist is because I had been a music lover my whole life. In the summer of 2013 my brother decided he was going to start making beats. I was always free styling growing up until now so we put out talents together and that’s how I began my rap career. People in the city and the country were really beggining to mess with our music so we started being consistent with our music.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Growing up everybody called me Neil or Paco. My government name is Emory Pace II. Once I got older everybody new that I met would see my government name and so they would call me Emory. I did not go by Emory because my daddy name Emory we both couldnt be called Emory at the same time. I loved my name Emory and so did the ladies lol so as I rapped I began calling myself Emory Jr.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
I like online music sharing. I do give out all my mixtapes free on livemixtapes and datpiff.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Stay consistent talking with local dj and your local radio station. The goal is to get yourself hot in your area first before you try to go nationwide
